For Oxford Gold Group we created iconic characters and a world for them to live in.
CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
To help Oxford Gold Group stand out in a world of dry financial investment firm ads, we knew they needed a unique calling card. Based on our data-driven approach to digital advertising and in-depth knowledge of precious metals investment, we suspected that leaning into comedic content would be a win for the firm. Progressive Insurance has Flo, Geico has the Gecko. For Oxford Gold Group, we set out to create an iconic and memorable couple to represent the abundance, security, and peace of mind that come with an investment in precious metals, then added a comedic twist. ​
APPROACH
Our objective was to deliver introductory information about the benefits of investing in Gold in a clever and informative way, inspiring new inquiry phone calls and ultimately creating new clients for Oxford Gold Group. Short on time, we needed to capture enough content in one day of production to fuel the entire campaign and provide material for nearly endless iterations. I led the team in executing a large scale production during which we captured primary video footage plus a variety of social-first and photo assets.​
Our campaign included a hero video and multiple variations of social videos for Facebook and YouTube, paid search, Google Display and Discover, as well as unique campaign landing pages and email flows.
